Digitizing is accomplished through the use of a Lemoine digitizing and high speed
milling system. The Lemoine interfaces with 2 of the CNC mills in our shop.
Digitizing is especially useful when complex contours which have not been defined within a
CAD system are present. The digitized data may be processed and duplicated through the
high speed milling system or the data can be exported into a CAD system and used to define
a surface in a database.
